Nomination
Form for
Creative Achievement Award for Outstanding Seniors
The Creative Achievement Award was
established to honor the creative and scholastic accomplishments of
outstanding high school seniors interested in theatre and film.
The recipients of this award will be
invited to attend the Region VII Kennedy Center/American College Theatre
Festival hosted at the UI February 15-21 as guests with registration fees paid by
the Department of Theatre and Film. They will be able to
participate in all conference workshops, and receive complimentary
tickets to attend festival performances.
In addition, ten juniors or seniors will
be offered apprenticeships with Idaho Repertory Theatre for the 2004
summer session (June 2 - July 30). Members of IRT's Apprentice
Program will gain a wealth of theatre knowledge and new skills while
working on four mainstage productions and three studio
productions. Working experience with a professional company, such
as IRT, is one of the best training grounds that a young theatre artist can experience.
At the end of the season, the students
will present the IRT Apprentice Showcase, performing scenes and
monologues on stage at the Hartung Theatre.
