Purchasing, Recycling and Waste Reduction
The U.S., with about 5% of the world's
population, produces about 25% of the world's waste. Fortunately, we
have started to pay attention and there are some enjoyable good sources of
information, like the book Garbage Land: On the Secret Trail of Trash
by Elizabeth Royte (2005) and the older, but still very popular Affluenza
