What's on this site?  Whatever we decide, find, and provide to help UI discover and develop a sustainable campus.  The readings and assignments we're working on right now in the seminar are below.  Links to the left take you to pages of information on current UI sustainability and external ideas and information.

"There are 3,700 institutions of higher education in the US, with 14 million students, annual budgets over $150 billion, and endowments in excess of $100 billion. We could make long strides toward sustainability if even a fraction of these were to adopt ecological guidelines for campus management."

David Orr, Educating for the Environment. Yes! Winter 1999.

This website records UI's participation in that effort.
