With the exception of grade 6 which has remained relatively constant, student beer consumption has been increasing for the past several years

Within grade 6, 8% of the students in Region 7 had consumed beer.  By grade 8 that percentage had increased to 19%.

By grade 10 the percentage had increased to 31%, and 49% by grade 12.

This data indicate additional interventions are needed to reduce their consumption by students in region seven
