With the exception of grade 6 which has shown some fluctuation, the number of students who report their friends use cigarettes
has been increasing in all grade groups. In grade 6, 11% of students report their friends use cigarettes.  By grade 8 that percentage
has increased to 23%. By grade 10, the percentage has increased to 43%, and by grade 12 to 60%.
These data indicate that additional interventions are needed in region seven to reduce cigarette consumption..
