In grades 6, 10 and 12, the number of individuals who report their friends used alcohol has remained constant for the past several years

In grade 8 since FY2000, more students are reporting their friends or using alcohol.

Specifically, during grade six, only 7% of the students report their friends use alcohol. However by grade 8 that percentage has increased to 38%.

By grade 10, that percentage has increased to 62% and by grade 12 to 68%

It is clear that significant interventions need to be developed for region six.
