Within Idaho, Region Six has the third-highest number of food stamp recipients in the state.  Further, between 1999 and 2004 the number of recipients steadily increased.  However, since 2004, the number of recipients has remained relatively constant.  The greatest number of food stamp recipients are located in two counties:  Bear Lake and Bingham.  The meaning remaining countries have relatively few recipients.
