Use rates for hard liquor have remained relatively constant for the past several years
In grade 6 most students do not report drinking hard liquor. However by grade 8, 22% have reported using hard liquor
This use increases to 53% by grade 10 and over 50% by grade 12. Many of these users in grades 10 and 12
are  using on a weekly basis.
It is clear additional interventions are needed in region five for alcohol use
