In general the number of students drinking beer has remained constant for the past several years
In grade 6 approximately 14% of the students have reported drinking beer. This increases to 36% by grade 8,
53% by grade 10 and 57% by grade 12.
It is clear additional interventions are needed in region five to reduce the amount of beer drinking by students.
