As we review the data for grades six through 12, there is an increase in approval for binge drinking beginning in Grade 8.  This increase in approval for binge drinking continues in grade 10 and grade 12.  However, the approval percentages in grade 10 are lower than the state average and similar to the state average for grade 12.  Considering the approval for binge drinking is beginning at an earlier age than state data, it is suggested that interventions aimed at changing attitudes about binge drinking began in grade 6 or earlier.
