As we review the data for grades six through 12, there is a slight increase in approval for binge drinking between grades six and eight.  This increase in approval significantly rises between grades eight and 10 and further increases in grade 12.  However, in the last two years, the approval for binge drinking in grade 12 has decreased somewhat.  These trends in Region Two are somewhat higher than general state data.  However, there is a 7% increase for approval of binge drinking in Region Two when compared to state data.  It is clear, Region Two should increase interventions to change binge drinking attitudes beginning prior to the eighth grade.
