Within Region One, Kootenai County continues to experience an increase in the number of individuals entering public treatment programs.  Similar increases (although significantly smaller) have occurred in Shoshone County and Benewah County until the last year.  Finally, Bonner and Boundary counties have seen major reductions of individuals entering public treatment programs.  When compared to other regions, Region One shows a high percentage of clients that enter state-funded treatment.
