Since fiscal year 2000, the number of students reporting to use methamphetamine has remained relatively constant.  Further, there has been a decrease in the number of students who have used methamphetamine on a weekly or daily basis.  However, like other data, the number of students who begin using methamphetamine increases between the eighth and 10th grade.  It is recommended that additional prevention efforts be targeted at these grade levels.
