Since fiscal year 2000, the number of students using ecstasy has remained relatively constant.  Further, the number of students who are using ecstasy has remained very low.  However, there is an increase in the number of students who use ecstasy between the eighth and 10th grade level.   It is recommended that prevention efforts be targeted at the eighth grade level.
