Since fiscal year 2000, the number of students reporting cocaine use has remained relatively low and constant.  However, there is an increase in the number of students who are trying cocaine between the eighth and 10th grade levels.  Once the students reach the 10th grade level to use rate is remaining constant into the 12th grade.  It is recommended that prevention efforts focus at the eighth grade levels to reduce cocaine use in the future.
