The number of respondents reporting their friends using chewing tobacco as remained constant in grades four and six since fiscal year 2000.  However, more respondents indicate their friends are using chewing tobacco in grades 8, 10 and 12. also is he is sure to grades well since fiscal year 2004.  Furthermore in grade 12 during fiscal year 2006, approximately 50% of the respondents indicated their friends are using chewing tobacco at least a few times.
