As we can see from this food stamp data, between 1992 and 1999, there was a consistent decrease in the number of individuals receiving food stamps and all regions.  However, in 1999 and 2005 this trend reversed.  Consequently, during this period, more individuals were receiving food stamps in Idaho than ever before.  Further, the greatest trend increases have occurred in Regions Three and Four.  Since 2005, there has been a slight decrease in the number of food stamp recipients.  Regionally, Region Three has the greatest number of food stamp recipients, followed by Regions Four and Six respectively.
