Policies
Peer Advisors are available for Freshman and Sophomore students, as well as other students. Peer Advisors can remove advising blocks for lower division students. Freshman and Sophomores are not required to see peer advisors and can choose to see a Faculty Advisor. However, it is recommended that all students see a Peer Advisor initially, and they can help you select another advisor or find any other information or resource you may need.
During student's fourth semester, or just before they complete the required credits for Junior Standing, Peer Advisors will help students select a Faculty Advisor.
Faculty Advising
Faculty are available by appointment for advising about career choice and coursework. Contact the faculty member directly for available times or drop-in during their regular office hours
Upper division psychology majors are assigned faculty advisors.
