General Information about Advising:
The purpose of advising is to make sure students achieve their academic and career goals. Peer and Faculty advisors are available to help with this endeavor. At the University of Idaho, Peer Advisors are available to help all students as they start their academic career, and with questions any student has. Advisors can also assisst you with:
- reviewing transcripts
- planning coursework
- study skills
- starting a career plan (also see the Advising Links)
- preparing to apply to graduate school (also see the Advising Links)
- answering or finding the answers to any other questions
Psychology students your first stop should be the Psychology Peer Advisors. They are located in Student Health Building, Psychology Department room #200. Before you go see an advisor be sure to review the checklist we have provided below to help you understand the courses needed to graduate.
