Moscow, ID
The University of Idaho is located in Moscow, a university town of
21,000 located in Idaho's panhandle. The city is surrounded by
rolling hills and forested mountains. Beautiful Lake Coeur d' Alene
is to the north, and scenic rivers such as the Snake and Clearwater
are to the south. Wilderness areas are within a day's drive. Skiing,
fishing, hiking, boating, and other outdoor activities are easily
available. Eight miles to the west of Moscow is Pullman, Washington
(pop. 26,000), the site of Washington State University.

Lionel Hampton Jazz Internationally acclaimed jazz musicians perform
in nightly concerts. The festival also offers competitions and

Borah Symposium An annual program devoted to understanding the
causes of peace and war. Many well know speakers address the

University Gallery Through exhibits and related activities, this
gallery is a teaching lab for both faculty and students. Ridenbaugh

Study Abroad U of I program has access to 185 universities in 50
countries. You can virtually pick any field to study. May receive

Student Media Publishes the Argonaut newspaper (www.argonaut.uidaho.edu),
the Gem of the Mountains yearbook, and operated the 24 hour student

Multicultural affairs The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) seeks to broaden the University of Idaho’s commitment to cultural enrichment and academic excellence by maintaining an environment that supports multiculturalism and promotes inclusion.
Outdoor program The Outdoor Program is a non-profit service organization dedicated to providing the university community with education and resources for wilderness-based, human powered outdoor and adventure activities.
Student Wellness Program The Student Wellness Program extends a variety of classes,
seminars, assessments and activities that promote a healthy
lifestyle to student, faculty and community. The program is designed
to accommodate the needs of all through a social, safe, and fun
environment.
Graduate students in the Human Factors Program may also participate
in the University of Idaho Chapter of the national Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. The Chapter
sponsors presentations by human factors specialists from the U.S.
and Canada, and organizes field trips to regional human factors
organizations.
