Wrap-Up
Overview:
You have now worked through several topic areas
related to substance abuse screening and assessment.
Now is the time to put it all together.
Tasks:
You are to contact the third person that
volunteered to be a client for you.
This person is to become a client using multiple types of
compounds with some level of intensity (Of which the client will
determine). You are to
conduct an assessment with this client using any instrument you
desire. Upon
completion, analyze the data and write a client report using any
technique you require. The
report should include at a minimum:

Background information.

A client diagnosis using the DSM IV.

Type of treatment you are going to
recommend.

Type of care the client should expect.

Other relevant information.
For each section be able to clearly justify
your answer. Think of
me as a judge making a decision about this client’s future (and
your reputation as well).
Your review will in part be the basis for your
grade. So be thorough
and complete.
