14.1  Helping

Lesson Overview
:

To this point in the course we have discussed why individuals may or may not do a variety of behaviors. When and why they might form groups or relationships and what the outcomes might be. Now we are going to turn our attention to the specific behavior of helping.

Module Overview:

At the completion of this module you should be able to define how and why people might choose to help or refuse to help.  We will discuss many theories about when and why others help and what the impact is on those that are helped (or over-helped).
