Lesson Overview
:Social Influence

To this point we have studied the ways in which individuals make decisions about a wide variety of topics. We’ve discussed attitude change and persuasion. In this lesson, we will extend this to discuss when and how people behave especially in the presence of others.

Module Overview:

At the completion of this module you should be able to explain and predict when others will conform or choose not to conform. You will also learn how information can be a powerful tool in getting other individuals to conform.
