Understanding Correlations

Social PsychologyLesson Overview:

Now that you have some idea about what social psychology is and what social psychologists do, we are going to proceed to go over some research methods used in Social Psychology. In this lesson, you will learn how Social Psychologists use a variety of research methods to test theories and hypotheses.

Module Overview:

At the completion of this lesson you should be able to properly interpret correlational findings. View graphs and identify the magnitude and direction of a correlation. Understand when correlational data are appropriate.
