Question:
Clearly WWII had a huge impact on Social Psychology.  Foremost this war had an impact by bringing Social Psychologists to the US as they fled Nazi Germany.  A second impact of WWII was focusing research on issues that would aide the American public.  For example, convincing women to enter the workforce in defense factories, to ration food products, and to continue their support of the "war effort."  Given the current events of today (e.g., Terrorist Attacks of 9/11 and others, Gulf War), how do you imagine social psychology is being impacted by this?  What topics do you believe social psychologists should study to be most useful at this point in history?  Be sure your answers are well thought out from a scientific (NOT A POLITICAL) point of view.
