To Whom It may Concern:

re: Brij Kul Deepak

For the past month, it has been our privilege to host Mr. Brij Kul Deepak at our center. Mr. Deepak is a most innovative educator, an astute sociologist and clever toymaker. He knows how to reach into the world of children through recreation, humor and challenge.

During his stay, he has conducted numerous workshops for children, parents and teachers using the theme of Indian toys as a means to teach Indian culture, environmental awareness, dramatic skills and scientific principles.

All of his workshops, including a hands on class in Indian cuisine, have been greeted with great enthusiasm and people have gone out of their way to express their gratitude and interest in inviting Mr. Deepak to come again. As one mother wrote me recently about the experience of her two sons, Mr. Deepak has planted a seed which it is now "my job to nurture and watch it grow."

We wish Mr. Deepak the greatest success as carries his message, spirit and creativity to children and those who love them all over the world.

Sincerely,

Allan J. Smith
