Our group will reveal how opression is a progressive process over time.  The subject that is being opressed changes throughout history.  We will be focusing on the opression of women.  We feel that the opression of women will soon be moving onto the next group of people in that their role in war in the past present and future gives us an important outlook on how we will treat opressed groups in the future.  We will show this through many different aspects including movies, television, and propoganda.

Alex: I will be showing the role of women in war in the media (mainly movies) both the heroes and the victums.

Calana: I will be talking about the role of women in war in the past, present, and the future, and talk about how it seems there is a pattern in the way we treat opressed groups in war.

Erin: I will be talking about women heros in war. How those women have changed the norms for women of today, and why there are so few today.
