Propaganda is a technique used to influence the beliefs of a society or
population. Often it will use misleading information to "educate" or brainwash
a society through the use of different mediums. This is done in order to other
specific members of
that society or another society or culture. In this way propaganda creates
monstrosity and perhaps is the root of all monstrosity.
Jon- Propaganda during the cold war influenced the lives of Americans and
members of the Soviet Union.
Jeff- Modern government propaganda and its creation of nameless monsters through
various media.
Chris- I will be focusing on the relationship that propaganda has to education,
primarily on children.
Amanda- I want to focus mainly on the art used in propaganda. Looking at the
similarities and differences that occur for different wars (like WWII and the
War on Terrorism).
Anthony- Research war movies and how they
affect people's feelings, morals, and how desensitization can occur.
