Purpose of the course: to complete the basic grammar of Classical Greek and begin reading texts.

Rules: attendance is expected. Class participation will count for up to 20% of your grade. Tests and review papers must be taken and turned in on time! A grace period of one day (meaning until the next meeting of the class) will be given for assignments. The semester ends at the end of the final examination. If you are taking the lab please bring the manual to class before spring break and at the time of the final.

The most important part of any chapter is the reading material. Always construe the assigned sentences (figure out how the words relate to each other and what they mean and then translate into English).
