WORD JOURNAL
Project: required: a word journal (see a sample and check out WORDS) to be turned in the week after Thanksgiving of 20 interesting words with their sources (where you found them), a quotation using them, their meanings in brief and origins (etymologies) OR a list of the 20 or so important or interesting words in your major (10 points). These will be accepted late (until the final, but no later than) and early. This is only ten points. It will not affect your grade unless you are between grades, in which case doing a good job might help or not turning it in might hurt.
