Euripides, Alcestis
Purpose of the course: to read Euripides’ Alcestis; to work on the aural dimension of Greek; to improve reading skills in Attic Greek.
Grading: There will be two review tests and some sight translations. Each student will work on a project: paper topics can be found in the study guide. Working in pairs, prepare a scene to perform in Greek. Grades will be based on tests, papers, participation and preparation of the material.
