Vocabulary Building Lab

This is an auto-didactic (or self-tutorial) course, so that you will work mostly on your own. Since some of the exercises are very long and potentially tedious, it might be best to work on them in groups.

The Workbook, Vocabula is available on the web, 

For the months of January and February: Complete Part I (General Vocabulary): Fill in derivatives, read the phrases and quotations, if you have time find additional quotations or sayings using the words, do the exercises at the end of the chapter AND prepare for a vocabulary quiz to be completed before spring break.

After Spring Break:

March: Complete Part Two.

April: Complete Parts Three and Four

May: Complete Part Five and turn in the work book, or if you are in the group working on an interactive CD, we can set up a time for you to present your work to the class and professor. Progress reports are welcome at any time.
