1. What historical circumstances shaped Jeremiah’s message over the course of his career? How does his message change with changing circumstances?
2. What does the call narrative in Chapter One tell us about Jeremiah and the message he was to preach? To what extent does this call narrative resemble the call narratives of Moses or Isaiah?

7 and 26 deal with Jeremiah’s Temple Sermon. Why did this sermon meet with such disapproval?4. Jeremiah liked to use signs to get his message across. What signs does he use in Chapters 19-20 and 27-28 and what do they mean?
