Robert is Head of the MFA in Dramatic Writing Program at UI Department of Theatre & Film.  He has worked in film and television development and production for such companies as Mahagonny Pictures, Netter Digital Entertainment, New Wave Entertainment, North by Northwest Productions and as a Creative Consultant for the History Channel/Triage Entertainment.  Recent directing assignments include Much Ado About Nothing, Lend Me a Tenor, The Rivals, The Underpants, HUSH: An Interview with America, Biloxi Blues, Wild Oats (for IRT) and Boy Gets Girl, Front, Our Countryıs Good, and Les Liaisons Dangereuses for the Department of Theatre & Film.  Some playwriting credits include: Kissing (Phoenix Theatre, AZ; Lavender Footlights Festival, Miami, FL; Actorıs Guild of Lexington, KY; Last Frontier Theatre Conference, Valdez, AK) The Lake (RVC Studio Theatre, Rockford, IL; Walnut Street Theatre, Philadelphia, PA; Mill Mountain Theatre, Roanoke, VA) and Santa Fe (Finalist, 2004 Heideman Award from Actorıs Theatre of Louisville; Equity World Premiere at New Yorkıs Stageworks/Hudsonıs Play By Play Festival; Appetite Theatre, Chicago, IL; The Theatre-Studio, Inc, PlayTime Series, NYC; Madhouse Theatre, Philadelphia, PA; Last Frontier Theatre Conference; and Boston SLAMFEST.)  His new play Push was commissioned by Penn State University and will premiere in February of 2008.
