Copies of your
on-line teaching evaluations (saved as htm files). You probably
won't include all of your evaluations in your actual portfolio, but
you should keep a copy of them. You won't be able to access student
teaching evaluations when you are no longer working for UI. |
 |
A summary of your
teaching evaluations. Start with
this template. |
 |
A
statement of your teaching philosophy. Try writing this in several
different version--one page, one hundred words. When you actually
need to send out a teaching philosophy statement, it's handy not to
have to compose one on the spot. Also, this might be something
(presumably) that changes as you get more experience teaching. |
 |
Sample syllabi for all courses you have taught. |
 |
Paper assignments that you have given and found especially
successful. |
 |
Any
other particularly well-written or otherwise brilliant handouts you
have produced for students (but don't include just any old thing). |
 |
Some
graded papers (get the students' permission for this). |
