Spring 2008

The Writing Center is a collaborative learning program dedicated to providing one-on-one assistance to student writers.  Students come to the center for help at various stages of the writing process.  In a writing conference, tutors help students clarify their thinking and develop their ideas. Tutors also help students find strategies for improving organization, grammar, and punctuation. They will work with any written piece, from essays and reviews to research papers and résumés.  The Writing Center also provides a library of handbooks, style manuals, and copies textbooks for the first-year composition courses.

We're in the Idaho Commons,
Third Floor, Room 323
--between the Honors Program and Career and Professional Planning.

The Writing Center closes for the semester on the last day of class: Friday, May 2, at 3:30 p.m. Tutors are not available during finals week.

The Writing Center will remain closed during summer sessions.

Thank you to all the students who used our services this past academic year.  We enjoyed working with you.

Have a good summer!
