Honors Section Course Format:
The honors section differs from other sections primarily by offering
students more responsibility for course content, less lecture (when possible) and more
opportunities to both lead and participate in group and classroom discussions.
Students will be assigned discussion groups; participation in these groups will
be graded by the other group members. Each student will teach
a class length Mini-Lesson on one of the
Auxiliary Topics and submit a 3-4 page summary of that lesson. These
summaries will be posted online and constitute a portion of the required
reading.
