Failure to follow these guidelines will result in a failing grade for the assignment.
Notes On Working Through The Questions:
1) Read the questions before you read the assignments. The questions will point you toward what elements to the text to pay the most attention to.
Reread the questions as you read the assigned reading.
2) Take notes in your texts as you read that will help you answer the questions and study later.
3) The easiest way to work through answering the questions is to divide them up amongst group members and then have each member email his or her answers to a single group member who compiles them into a whole, edits them, and circulates the completed copies.
This is also the least worthwhile way because you never meet to discuss the validity of each question and thereby defeat the entire purpose of these being discussion questions.
So, as students generally find the tests in this course exceptionally difficult (many fail or receive D's on the first test), I really do recommend that you meet as a group to discuss the best possible answer to the question.
4) Take the time to get to know the people in your group. Exchange email addresses and phone numbers. The better y'all get along, the less likely y'all will be to let each other down.
However, expect people in your group to slack off and let everyone else down, and plan accordingly for when this occurs.
