Identical to the Rebuttal essay, but in this case, persuade yourself; treat yourself as your audience. Develop, outline and present the argument necessary to change your own mind on this topic.

If over the course of the in-class debate etc. you already did change your original position on this topic, you could also write-out a summary of the argument that changed your mind; the main thing here is to, again, treat yourself as the audience.
