Putting it all together:
Here are some ideas about assembling the final article for Environmental Writing.

 Content:

Add / omit details where necessary or useful
Perhaps delete details that now do not fit.
Especially look at the place/narration introduction
                        What can you add?
What can you delete so the section get to the main idea quickly?
Respond to my notes on the old drafts
Answer my questions.  Clarify points as I requested on the old drafts.

Add analysis
State the analysis in terms of your main point

Add transitions
Revise the background/place/narration so it fits.
Add/revise the paragraph segue from it to the main point
Be sure you have a main point
Use creative non-fiction where possible—integrate the narration

Add a conclusion – see the Web page for ideas

 Organization:

 Deal with information in blocks
            Re-organize as necessary
Add headings or typographic section breaks
Clarify transitions

Avoid: "this section will cover..."    "as stated before...."  "as will be covered later..."

 Sentence Style:

 Deal with all my notes.
Do not write comma splices or fragments.
Check the basics (spelling, agreement….)
Copy edit carefully: See p. 27

Documentation:

Cite sources thoroughly and correctly
