Introductory letter:
Please take about an hour to write (and listen to the
Webcast) a short (150 words max)
letter to me that provides answers to the
following questions:

What’s your major?
2.
What year in school are you?
3.
What other writing classes have you taken?
4.
What kinds of natural science or physical sciences classes have you
taken?
5.
What kinds of outdoor experience do you have?
6.
What kinds of experience do you have with environmental issues?
7. Go to The Story of Stuff
and listen to that.
8. Based on what you heard there, write a short paragraph about what you think
about sustainability.
9. What is your most environmentally sustainable activity? What is your
least sustainable activity?
10.
Do you know of any projects you would like to work on for the semester?
What are they?
11.
What do you expect to achieve by taking this class?
12.
What kind of work do you hope to do after you graduate?
