Proposal Scope

Use the scope section to limit your project. With a scope section, you can limit

  1. Objectives (place the “Scope” section after the “Objectives” section) or
  2. Methods (place the “Scope” section after the “Methods” section).

Not all proposals need a scope section. Use this section if

  1. you have proposed objectives (or methods) that are beyond the scope of this project’s time constraints
  2. you have proposed methods that are already completed to emphasize that some of the project is completed
  3. you want to place specific limitations on your objectives or your objectives have limited uses
  4. you are not sure about being able to complete one of the objectives or some part of the objectives (or methods).
