The Callithumpian Consort
Tuesday September 20, 2011
"Compelling, bracing, and at times astonishingly beautiful," is how the Boston Globe describes a performance by the Callithumpian Consort led by pianist Stephen Drury. The consort, in a configuration of two pianists and four percussionists, will perform classic works by three of the major composers of the past century: Bela Bartok's Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion; John Cage's Credo in Us, and Steve Reich's Sextet.
