River front Park was originally home to the 74' National Expo, then redesigned to be the major Spokane Park to accommodate the community. The park is located along the Spokane River above the dam.

The famous carousel is one of the major attractions.

Both hardscape and green space exist that allows the park to serve many functions.  Functions include: community gatherings and events, tourist attraction,  biking and hiking paths and small amusement park.  Many people enjoy the scenery along the water and feeding the wildlife.

One of the landmarks in the park is the clock tower. It is one of the only structures left when the park design took place.

The very large red wagon attracts many children and adults with a slide coming down the handle.  If only you had one as a kid.
