JUSTICE STUDIES

The major is designed as an interdisciplinary program of study incorporating courses in justice studies, sociology, psychology, and political science. Courses are also offered through a cooperative arrangement with Washington State University. This program provides academic training in preparation for careers throughout the justice system, including justice and social policy research, as well as preparing students for graduate and professional schools. Field experience in the form of internships is available during the student's junior or senior year. The strengths of the justice studies program include juvenile delinquency, applied research, and white collar crime.
