WELCOME
Welcome to the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences. The
College provides a solid liberal and professional education in the
humanities, performing and studio arts, architecture disciplines,
languages and literatures and the social sciences. It contains Idaho’s
most comprehensive programs in these fields of study.
Graduates of the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences go on
to assume leadership roles in the private sector, government agencies
and academia. Alumni are recognized nationally and internationally
for their research and contributions to culture, literature and human
welfare.
Students, faculty and staff in the College of Letters, Arts and Social
Sciences are invested in exploring and sustaining intellectual diversity.
This benefits the quality of life as defined by the study of liberal
arts.
