ADVISING
All students
in the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences are assigned
a faculty advisor by the student’s departmental office. Students
meet with advisors around the middle of each semester to choose
classes for the next semester. Students are encouraged to meet
with advisors to talk about courses, student clubs and
organizations, internships, and career opportunities.
Kristine Roby is the College Advisor who works with students who
are undecided about a major or who are having academic
difficulties. She also handles academic petitions and appeals
for students. Kristine is the advisor for juniors and seniors
seeking a degree in General Studies. Her office is in the
Administration Building, Room 112.
Freshmen and sophomore students in General Studies are advised
by staff in the Academic Advising Center located in the
Teaching & Learning Center (TLC) Room 338. |
