DESCRIPTION:

In this workshop, Tony Fisk will focus on the components, tools, barriers, and implementation of Diversity Initiatives in the business world.  He'll specifically look at the model of Cultural Competence as the cornerstone of a successful Diversity Initiative and explore an array of interactive implementation tools.  The workshop can be used for upper division sociology elective credits and/or for the applied component of the Certificate in Diversity & Stratification.  

REQUIREMENTS:

Full attendance is required and other requirements will be discussed during the workshop.
