DESCRIPTION:
"Working Effectively with the Japanese" is a one-credit workshop designed to
help individuals understand how interactions between U.S. American and
Japanese citizens can be more effectively conducted once underlying cultural
differences are explored and intercultural working strategies adopted.
This workshop is designed for students, professionals, and faculty who will
interact with Japanese
through work or
school related opportunities. Japanese language proficiency is not
required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Students will be assigned readings to complete prior to the workshop.
Full
attendance is required and other requirements will be discussed during the
workshop.
