Instructions:
Before you proceed to write the background section of your proposal, you need to complete some secondary research on the project: you need to review literature on the project or the topic the project deals with. So for this assignment, you will write a progress report that tells me about the sources you are using to develop your project and the report.
In this unit, you will read about:
- how to write a progress report,
- how to summarize information, and
- how to use bibliographic form to cite sources.
To complete this unit:
Task 1
- Read about

Progress Report 1 Assignment Page
- Read the
How to Write a Summary
- Read the Progress Report 1 Sample
- Skim the
Bibliographic Entry Sample pages so you know about bibliographic form.
- Do your own research and find at least four articles that you can use to help you write your proposal.
- Write the final draft of the progress report.
- Email
thompson@uidaho.edu me the progress report for a grade.
